Polynucleotides Hair

Are you suffering from thinning hair or the beginning of hair loss? Polynucleotides Hair we offer an innovative, regenerative treatment that stimulates the scalp and hair follicles from within.

At Xavier Clinics we use polynucleotides as part of a medically sound approach to hair loss, aimed at natural stimulation of hair growth without surgery and without synthetic volumizers.

What are Polynucleotides?

Polynucleotides are biologically active molecules that stimulate cell regeneration and tissue repair. In the scalp:

  • Do they improve blood circulation?

  • Do they support the hair follicles?

  • Do they stimulate cell renewal?

  • Do they promote collagen production?

  • Do they create a healthy environment for hair growth?

The treatment works at cellular level and stimulates the scalp's natural recovery capacity.

Who is Polynucleotide Hair suitable for?

Polynucleotide Hair is suitable for:

  • Beginning hair loss

  • Thinning hair

  • Hormonal hair loss (early stage)

  • Hair loss due to stress

  • Support after hair transplantation

During the consultation we will assess whether polynucleotides are suitable or whether a combination with, for example, PRP or XL Hair is more effective.

  • Safe and controlled execution

Treatments are usually performed at intervals of 3 to 4 weeks.

Goal of treatment:
Stimulating natural hair growth and improving the quality of existing hair.

Result of Polynucleotides Hair

  • Improved hair density

  • Thicker-looking hair

  • Healthier-looking scalp

The first improvements are usually visible after 4 to 6 weeks, with further increase after multiple treatments.

Frequently Asked Questions about Polynucleotide Hair

Is Polynucleotide Hair the same as PRP?

No. PRP uses the body's own plasma, while polynucleotides contain specific regenerative molecules that work specifically on cell stimulation.

Is the treatment painful?

The microinjections may be slightly sensitive. A numbing cream can be used if desired.

How long does a treatment take?

About 30 minutes, depending on the treatment area.

When will I see results?

Usually after 4 to 6 weeks, with further improvement in the following months.

How many treatments are needed?

On average 3 to 4 treatments for optimal results.

Can this treatment be combined with other hair treatments?

Yes, for example with PRP or XL Hair for a comprehensive treatment plan.

Are there any side effects?

Mild redness or tenderness of the scalp may occur and usually disappears within a few days.

Is Polynucleotide Hair suitable for complete baldness?

If hair follicles are completely gone, the effect is limited. During the consultation, we will discuss realistic expectations.

Consultation with the doctor

Before all treatments, a consultation is scheduled. During this consultation, the doctor will listen to your wishes and explore the options available to achieve them. The doctor will thoroughly inform you about the pre- and aftercare, the expected results, any risks, and the recovery process for the chosen treatment.

The treatment

Once you've chosen to undergo treatment with us, we'll ask you to complete a medical questionnaire and sign a treatment agreement beforehand. If you take a lot of medication, please bring your medication list to your appointment.

Photos will be taken of you both before and after the treatment for your medical records. In some cases, the skin is locally anesthetized with a numbing cream or anesthetic solution before the treatment.

Aftercare

After the treatment, you will receive an aftercare form by email. You do not need to stay at the clinic and can go home immediately. It is common for the skin to be red and swollen after the treatment, and sometimes some bruising may occur. These side effects will disappear on their own. It is important that you cool the treated area well with the cool pack you received, if advised. If you experience severe bruising, we recommend applying Arnica cream to the treated area.

It is recommended that you avoid applying makeup to the treated areas for the first four hours after treatment. Exposure to intense heat (sun, sauna, or tanning bed) is also discouraged for one week after treatment. We advise against having a facial for two weeks after treatment. You can assess the final result after two weeks.

If you have any questions about your recovery, please feel free to contact us.

Risks

The risk of complications is very small. As with any procedure, there is a small risk of infection or allergy.
