Consultation with the doctor

Before all treatments, a consultation is scheduled. During this consultation, the doctor will listen to your wishes and explore the options available to achieve them. The doctor will thoroughly inform you about the pre- and aftercare, the expected results, any risks, and the recovery process for the chosen treatment.

The treatment

Once you've chosen to undergo treatment with us, we'll ask you to complete a medical questionnaire and sign a treatment agreement beforehand. If you take a lot of medication, please bring your medication list to your appointment.

Photos will be taken of you both before and after the treatment for your medical records. In some cases, the skin is locally anesthetized with a numbing cream or anesthetic solution before the treatment.

Aftercare

After the treatment, you will receive an aftercare form by email. You do not need to stay at the clinic and can go home immediately. It is common for the skin to be red and swollen after the treatment, and sometimes some bruising may occur. These side effects will disappear on their own. It is important that you cool the treated area well with the cool pack you received, if advised. If you experience severe bruising, we recommend applying Arnica cream to the treated area.

It is recommended that you avoid applying makeup to the treated areas for the first four hours after treatment. Exposure to intense heat (sun, sauna, or tanning bed) is also discouraged for one week after treatment. We advise against having a facial for two weeks after treatment. You can assess the final result after two weeks.

Risks

The risk of complications is very small. As with any procedure, there is a small risk of infection or allergy.

Welke indicaties kan je met Profhilo®️ Body behandelen?

De behandeling is geschikt voor huidverslapping aan de binnenkant van de bovenarmen en van de buik. Het resultaat is heel natuurlijk, de huid wordt steviger, veerkrachtiger en is beter gehydrateerd.

Wat is er nieuw aan Profhilo®️ Body?

Profhilo®️ heeft in 2016 de Aesthetics Awards gewonnen voor de meest innovatieve behandeling omdat het een geheel nieuwe bewerking van hyaluronzuur betreft met hele specifieke voordelen. Het hyaluronzuur is heel natuurlijk, daardoor is er minder kans op bijwerkingen en krijg je een natuurlijk resultaat. Profhilo®️ Body is sinds oktober 2021 op de markt. Deze is speciaal ontwikkeld voor huidverslapping op het lichaam en heeft daarom ook een andere samenstelling dan de Profhilo®️ die reeds op de markt is.

Een verpakking Profhilo®️ Body bestaat uit een 3 ml voorgevulde spuit, bestaande uit 48 mg hoog en 48 mg laag moleculair gewicht hyaluronzuur. Met deze uitbreiding van de Profhilo®️ lijn biedt IBSA effectieve behandelingen voor zowel het gelaat als het lichaam.

The treatment

Bij deze behandeling wordt er met de BAP-techniek gewerkt, dat zijn injecties in 10 anatomisch uitgekiende gebieden die zorgen voor een optimaal resultaat.

Profhilo®️ Body verspreidt zich heel goed dus er zijn slechts een aantal injecties nodig om een gehele zone te behandelen. De behandeling is snel, nauwelijks pijnlijk en de kans op bijwerkingen is, door het natuurlijke materiaal, zeer klein. Er wordt een kuur van 2 behandelingen met een interval van 30 dagen aangeraden. Indien nodig kunnen er vervolgbehandelingen worden afgesproken.
