Een chemische peeling is een behandeling met een vloeistof oplossing die bestaat uit natuurlijke zuren. Peelings zorgen voor een duidelijke verbetering van de algehele huidconditie, met stimulering van celvernieuwing en verwijdering van dode huidcellen. De huid wordt egaler, pigmentvlekken worden verminderd, poriën worden minder zichtbaar en de huid zal zich vernieuwen en verjongen. Er bestaan verschillende soorten zuren met allemaal andere eigenschappen. Hierdoor kunnen we elke behandeling geheel aanpassen op uw huid. Tijdens de behandeling zal de behandelaar de geschikte peeling voor uw huid bepalen.

Consultation with the doctor
Before all treatments, a consultation is scheduled. During this consultation, the doctor will listen to your wishes and explore the options available to achieve them. The doctor will thoroughly inform you about the pre- and aftercare, the expected results, any risks, and the recovery process for the chosen treatment.
The treatment
Once you've chosen to undergo treatment with us, we'll ask you to complete a medical questionnaire and sign a treatment agreement beforehand. If you take a lot of medication, please bring your medication list to your appointment.
Photos will be taken of you both before and after the treatment for your medical records. In some cases, the skin is locally anesthetized with a numbing cream or anesthetic solution before the treatment.
Aftercare
After the treatment, you will receive an aftercare form by email. You do not need to stay at the clinic and can go home immediately. It is common for the skin to be red and swollen after the treatment, and sometimes some bruising may occur. These side effects will disappear on their own. It is important that you cool the treated area well with the cool pack you received, if advised. If you experience severe bruising, we recommend applying Arnica cream to the treated area.
It is recommended that you avoid applying makeup to the treated areas for the first four hours after treatment. Exposure to intense heat (sun, sauna, or tanning bed) is also discouraged for one week after treatment. We advise against having a facial for two weeks after treatment. You can assess the final result after two weeks.

The treatment
Het aantal benodigde behandelingen hangt af van de conditie van de huid. Vaak zijn er 3 tot 6 behandelingen nodig met een tussenpose van 2-4 weken voor het gewenste resultaat.
Is de behandeling gevoelig?
Over het algemeen is de behandeling goed te verdragen. De behandeling voelt aan als kleine prikjes in de huid en is niet pijnlijk.
Aftercare
Het is belangrijk om de huid na de behandeling goed te ondersteunen met speciale, op de behandelde huid afgestemde producten. Op deze manier wordt het herstel van de huid gestimuleerd. Voor de eerste 24 uur mag alleen de Skinfuse LIFT HG aangebracht worden. De volgende 24 uur mag de Skinfuse RESCUE crème naar behoefte aangebracht worden. Deze crème helpt de huid te kalmeren, verzachten en herstellen. Beide producten krijgt u mee na de producten.
