What's new about Profhilo®️ Body?
Profhilo®️ won the 2016 Aesthetics Awards for the most innovative treatment because it concerns a completely new effect of hyaluronic acid with very specific benefits. Hyaluronic acid is a natural product, we already have it in our bodies, therefore there is a small chance of side effects. Profhilo®️ Body is the new miracle product from IBSA that has been available on the European market since October 2021. Profhilo Body has been specially developed for sagging skin elsewhere than the face/neck for which Profhilo is known. It therefore has a different composition than Profhilo®️. A package of Profhilo®️ Body consists of a 3 ml pre-filled syringe containing 48 mg of high and 48 mg of low molecular weight hyaluronic acid.
With this extension of the Profhilo®️ line, IBSA offers effective treatments for both the face and the body.
How does the treatment work?
This treatment uses the BAP technique, which involves injections in 10 anatomically defined areas for optimal results. Profhilo®️ Body spreads around the injection points, so only a few injections are needed to treat an entire problem area. The treatment is quick, minimally painful, and has a very low risk of side effects. A course of treatments, typically 2-3, is recommended, with 30-day intervals. Follow-up treatments can be scheduled if necessary. A personalized treatment plan will be developed during an intake consultation with one of our practitioners. You will also receive a soothing cream after the treatment for comfort.
