XL Hair

XL Hair® is a ‘hair booster’, an injection liquid for the scalp that nourishes and reactivates the hair follicles. It contains a large number of active ingredients such as (natural) hyaluronic acid supplemented with 47 active ingredients. Together with the nourishing ingredients in XL Hair®, the hair follicles are optimally stimulated and activated. This makes hair follicles healthy and productive again, which stops hair loss and more hair growth. Thinning hair can be tackled with XL Hair®, which results in thicker and stronger hair. XL Hair® ensures:
– Inhibiting hair loss
– Improving hair quality
– The production of multiple hairs from 1 hair follicle
– Stimulating blood circulation to the hair
– Thicker hair and a fuller head of hair

Is XL Hair® suitable for me?
There are several causes of hair loss (medical name: alopecia). In particular, hair loss that is hereditary or that arises after hormonal complaints can be treated well with the XL Hair treatment. Androgenetic alopecia (also known as male pattern baldness) and alopecia areata (genetic form, mainly occurs in women and children) are examples of alopecia in which the hair follicles (follicles) are not yet scarred. With these forms of alopecia, XL Hair® has the greatest chance of success – as long as there are still hair follicles present and there are no obvious other causes for the hair loss, such as underlying suffering or medication use.

The skin therapist makes the diagnosis and determines whether you are a suitable candidate. You are not (yet) ready for treatment with XL Hair® in the following cases:
– If you are allergic to one of the ingredients.
– If you have wounds, a skin disease or an infection, for example a cold sore (herpes infection) or a streptococcal infection.
– If you have a scarred form of alopecia.
– Consult with the skin therapist if you are being treated with immunosuppressants or corticosteroids, or if you have an autoimmune disease, type 1 diabetes, acute rheumatoid arthritis, persistent angina pectoris or endocarditis.

The treatment
On the day of the treatment, wash your hair beforehand with the Scalpfit shampoo. After the treatment, you are not allowed to wash your hair that day or use hair products. (The next day this is allowed again.) The XL Hair® is administered by the skin therapist via superficial injections into the scalp. The treatment is not painful. Your skin may look a bit red after a treatment, but this is hardly visible between your hair and will disappear after a few hours. To get the most out of your treatments, it is important that you follow the treatment plan, complete the course and use the prescribed support products at home. The home products consist of two different shampoos and a hairspray.

A treatment for men usually consists of 6 sessions, for women this is 8 sessions. The first 4 treatments should take place weekly and then every two weeks.

Profhilo

Profhilo is an anti-aging treatment that uses pure hyaluronic acid without any additional chemicals. With only five jabs per side of the face, this is a minimally invasive treatment, and you can go right back to your daily activities afterwards without anybody noticing. The positive impact of Profhilo treatments is due to the production of collagen and elastin and stimulation of the fat tissue. This is known as bio-remodeling. The Profhilo treatment makes all the various layers of your skin healthy and firm again. An important advantage of this treatment is that it rejuvenates your skin without adding facial volume. It genuinely repairs the skin and targets any laxity. Profhilo can also be used to tighten up the neck, chest, hands, upper arms or legs. To obtain the best possible result, we recommend a course of at least two or three Profhilo treatments, with approximately 28 days between sessions. After six months you will need a maintenance session.

Profhilo®️ Body is an anti-aging treatment with a large amount of pure hyaluronic acid, without chemical additives, specially developed for skin slackening of the body. The effect of Profhilo®️ Body is due to the fact that the production of collagen (firmness) and elastin (stretchability) is stimulated. The skin becomes firmer, healthier and more resilient.

What’s new about Profhilo®️ Body?
Profhilo®️ won the Aesthetics Awards in 2016 for the most innovative treatment because it is a completely new treatment of hyaluronic acid with very specific benefits. The hyaluronic acid is very natural, so there is less chance of side effects and you get a natural result. Profhilo®️ Body has been on the market since October 2021. This has been specially developed for skin sagging on the body and therefore also has a different composition than the Profhilo®️ that is already on the market. A pack of Profhilo®️ Body consists of a 3 ml pre-filled syringe, consisting of 48 mg high and 48 mg low molecular weight hyaluronic acid. With this extension of the Profhilo®️ line, IBSA offers effective treatments for both the face and the body.

How does the treatment work?
This treatment uses the BAP technique, which are injections in 10 anatomically sophisticated areas that ensure an optimal result. Profhilo®️ Body spreads very well so only a few injections are needed to treat an entire area. The treatment is quick, hardly painful and the chance of side effects is very small, due to the natural material. A course of 2 treatments with an interval of 30 days is recommended. Follow-up treatments can be arranged if necessary.

Profhilo Serum Haenkenium

Profhilo Haenkenium combines hyaluronic acid (HA) complex with the patented salvia haenkei extract, Haenkenium, which functions as an antioxidant, protects the skin against premature aging and hyperpigmentation, restores the barrier function, relieves skin irritation and provides hydration to the skin. According to IBSA Italy, it combines 2 different molecular weights; the high molecular weight HA creates the protective effect and the low molecular weight contributes to optimal hydration of the skin.

Salvia Haenkei helps to protect against free radicals. Furthermore, the product is ideal for use after aesthetic treatments such as botox, fillers and peels, but it can also be added to your daily skincare routine. Suggested use: twice a day.

Kybella / Belkyra

Kybella has been well-known in the United States for many years. In Europe, this product is marketed as Belkyra. The active ingredient is deoxycholic acid. This substance is naturally present in the body and is used to break down the fats in our food.

A double chin consists primarily of fat tissue. This is precisely what makes the product ideally suited to breaking down that tissue. As the destroyed fat cells are no longer capable of storing fat, your double chin shrinks. The body disposes of the degraded fat cells without further intervention.

If you are interested in this treatment, we will first schedule a consultation. During this meeting, the practitioner will investigate your problem area and discuss whether this treatment is appropriate. If this is the case, they will also estimate how many sessions will be required to achieve your goal. The treatment involves injection of the liquid into the fatty tissue under your chin. It is important to cool the treated area well. This is because the treatment will cause your lower chin to swell and redden. Some bruising may occur, but this will fade away on its own.

Sculptra

Sculptra is a 100% biodegradable polylactic acid incorporated in hydrogel. The product has already proven itself in America for the past 25 years and is therefore FDA-approved. The product is suitable for the face and for the body. It can be used against cellulite, hip dips, subcutaneous imperfections after surgery and what it has become particularly famous for: giving volume to the buttocks. This avoids costly surgical intervention to fill the buttocks. An additional advantage is that daily activities can be continued immediately and the chance of complications is much smaller. Sculptra is completely absorbed by the body and eventually disappears completely from the body. The treating doctor applies the Sculptra solution just under the skin using small, thin needles. Because inserting the needle into the skin can be sensitive in some places, the doctor often uses a combination of Sculptra with a local anesthetic. Slight swelling is normal in the first hours after treatment. Immediately after the treatment, the volume-restoring effect of Sculptra is visible. After the first two weeks, that effect diminishes again, because the polylactic acid spreads in the skin. Then the new collagen starts to form. It takes a few weeks for the final result to become visible. The effect of Sculptra treatments is sustainable. The effect is visible for two to four years. After two years, Sculptra has been completely replaced by the body’s own collagen.
